Nox Voice 1 Advance
Officially launched spoken Nox — live on every plan
Nox Voice 1 Advance is Nox's officially launched spoken conversation system. It keeps the simplicity of a phone call while preserving a written record in Nox: speak, receive a focused reply in under two seconds, and return to the same chat thread whenever you need it.
Voice 1 Advance is built as a complete voice pipeline rather than a read-aloud switch on text chat. Speech is captured in the browser, transcribed for Nox, answered in a concise spoken style, and rendered as natural audio. Every completed exchange is saved into the same chat thread, so the conversation remains available to read afterward.
The system is tuned for short, clear spoken responses. After a completed phrase, Voice 1 Advance begins speaking in under two seconds. Each reply has a 320-token ceiling, keeping its spoken answers focused while the full transcript preserves the detail of the conversation.
Voice language is customizable in Settings. Choose Auto or one of 12 supported languages — English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Hindi, Arabic, or Russian — and that preference is saved locally on the device. On desktop, you can also choose the Nox voice sound used for spoken replies.
Voice 1 Advance is officially launched and available now on every Nox plan. The companion Nox Voice 1.2 remains a separate real-time mode on MAX and is currently in beta.
Every Advance call has a firm time boundary. A call can run for up to 15 minutes on paid plans. Free accounts include one session of up to one minute each UTC day, so anyone with a Nox account can try the full voice flow without an upgrade while the service stays predictable and available.
As with text chat, Voice 1 Advance runs behind Leo. Spoken turns are screened with the same deterministic emergency-safety backstop, and urgent guidance takes priority when a voice transcript indicates an emergency.
